Donna Pace Ranalli has been teaching tap since 1990, and in 1995 opened Broadway Bound Dance Academy. She has had numerous National Tap Champions and High Point Winners, as well as students who have gone on to professional tap companies. She even had two tappers make it to the Vegas round of "America's Got Talent". Two of her students were in "Matilda" on Broadway (one playing the title role), and one of those students also played Summer in "School of Rock" on both Broadway and on tour.
Miss Donna has been awarded both the Excellence Award and the Teacher's Award at the I Love Dance regional competitions. She has won choreography awards at Starpower, Starquest, and Nexstar regional competitions. Additionally, Miss Donna has won Starpower's "Excellence in Tap" award several years in a row.
Miss Donna has taught Master Classes to students in the Villanova University Theatre Department. Studying at local dance schools as a child, Miss Donnna has continued her dance education at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, as well as with master teachers such as Savion Glover, Buster Brown, Dianne Walker, Lane Alexander, Brenda Buffalino, Charles Kelley, Jerry Ames, Linda Gache, Debbie Dee, Barbara Duffy, Gil Stroming, Mike Minery, LaVaugh Robinson, and Charles Goddertz.
